Pharmacogenomics intended to speed drug development.

Gene Logic's ASCENTA® System provides a fast, easy, and affordable way to assess, prioritize, and qualify gene targets and potential biomarkers. The intuitive, highly visual gene expression reference system provides summarized, high quality microarray expression data from difficult-to-obtain, well-annotated, diseased and normal tissue samples organized into sample sets defined by relevant clinical parameters (i.e. morphology, disease stage, gender, age, medication).

This system facilitates rapid candidate target and biomarker discovery by providing knowledge of:

  • Regulation of a target's gene expression profile across a panorama of human diseases and normal tissues, in addition to several animal and cell culture model systems
  • Other genes that pattern match an expression profile for selected target genes of interest
  • Expression profiles across disease and normal tissues for entire gene families related to target genes of interest
  • Regulation of differential gene expression across metabolic and regulatory pathways

The ASCENTA® System contains gene expression profiles from over 8,000 human, rat, and mouse tissues expertly curated into over 1,500 sample sets, each containing summary expression data for over 30,000 targets. Gene Logic's board-certified clinical pathologists curate the specific sample sets contained within the system. The sample sets are directly relevant to the key therapeutic areas of inflammation, oncology, central nervous system disorders, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disease.

Available through subscription, the ASCENTA® System is a user-friendly internet-based system that utilizes a robust summary report format to deliver results quickly to you regardless of bioinformatics experience.
