Pharmacogenomics-based diagnostics are being increasing adopted by pharmaceutical, biotech organizations, clinical centers and hospitals to reduce trial lag in their efforts to discover new therapeutics and qualify parameters to help infer effectiveness of clinical recommendations to diverse patient groups. Microarray and RT-PCR based testing approaches are ideal platforms to solve both complex and simple diagnostic questions as large number of candidate genes can be analyzed for a particular study program.
